Day 122 - Friend visiting
Today my friend from America came to visit for Thanksgiving break. He'll be staying at my hall until Tuesday. Tonight we're planning to go to a "pub quiz" for two of my church cell groups. We'll probably go to London at some point, maybe a meteorology party (he's also a meteorology Ph.D. student), a "Thanksgiving" party on Sunday where we'll make authentic American pumpkin pie, and explore Reading a little more.I have TONS of work to do this week, but hopefully I'll have time to do everything. It'll be neat to see what he thinks of England, as he's traveled almost as much as I have (in the states) but not to Europe until now.

That's cool, Matt! Do I know who your friend is?
I won't have an opportunity to say it tomorrow so:
HAPPY THANKSGIVING, MATT!!!!
Hi Matt, tell Andy I said "hi" and that i hope he enjoys England. Feed the boy some fish & chips, dont let him run amuck of the bobbies, and be sure to stop at least one afternoon to have tea!
Oh yea- i know you'll find this funny- it is quite possible, if you ever go on a walking tour west/northwest of the 'city of london'- perhaps around the town of kensington / near trafalgar (sp?) square, to stroll passed the heavily guarded israeli embassy. i dare you to get a photo next to the entrance ;) (i couldnt get one there as i stumbled upon it while moving from kensington park to hyde park, but i do have a pic of me next to the entrance to the american embassy in beijing - all the while the chinese guards are yelling at me to cease & desist!)
oh yea, happy thxgvg man!
Hope you have a great Thanksgiving. Hope I get to see you sometime soon.
